Job Summary
As a Supervisor in Sterile Processing, you will lead the department team, ensuring high performance and smooth operations. Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one meetings, overseeing sterile processing operations, supporting training programs, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. You will also perform Sterile Processing Technician duties as needed and champion a safe work environment. The role requires at least 4 years of experience in Sterile Processing and some leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience in Sterile Processing
- 1+ years’ experience in leadership (supervisor level or above with direct reports) OR 2+ years of lead experience
- Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- CRCST or CBSPD Certification
- Additional certification (i.e. instrument specialist, flexible endoscope, healthcare leader, manager, STERIS Assessment)
Additional Requirements
- Must obtain certifications within 12 months if not certified at point of hire
