Job Summary
Supervisor, Sterile Processing role overseeing and coordinating the Central Sterile staff and daily operations in a hospital setting. Responsible for staff training, performance management, ensuring proper decontamination and sterilization techniques, inventory and case cart coordination, and liaison with perioperative and nursing units to meet department objectives. Requires leadership experience, an Associate’s Degree, and a Registered Central Supply Technician Certification. Focused on maintaining compliance with policies, QA standards, and documentation across sterilization processes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 5+ years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
