Job Summary
Supervisor oversees a customer account and manages a team responsible for cleaning and premises maintenance across office, commercial, or education buildings. Responsibilities include daily operations to meet company standards and KPIs, strategic account development, budget compliance, site management of project teams, administrative tasks, routine facility inspections, driving site safety policies, interviewing/hiring/training new employees, resolving employee/customer issues, procuring supplies/equipment, ensuring equipment condition, assigning and inspecting tasks, training on safety with new employees, recording hours and timekeeping, performing duties of supervised workers when needed, sending monthly condition reports of buildings to customers, and supervising a team of employees per organizational policies. Physical readiness to perform related tasks and adherence to health and safety regulations are noted. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of supervisory/management experience or degree from a 4 year college or 2 year technical institute is preferred
- Associates degree with technical training in plant engineering, or factory/plant maintenance, Bachelors preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitudes
- Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with current health and safety regulations
- Requires strong supervisory skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with changing priorities and situations
- Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the plant
