Supervisor, Service Center - TForce Freight

Job Summary
Supervises day-to-day operations of TForce Freight Service Centers, analyzes operational data to understand productivity, service, and quality targets, collaborates with Service Center management to develop action plans and improve service level results, and oversees staff within the department. Responsibilities include coordinating hiring and promotion decisions, ensuring adherence to labor agreements and addressing grievances, participating in new hire orientation and conducting safety and quality training, determining employee training needs, conducting performance evaluations, addressing performance issues, and building labor relations with labor officials and unionized employees while coaching and developing staff using career development processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred
- Previous dock operations experience - Preferred
- Supervisory experience in the transportation industry - Preferred
