Job Summary
Lead and supervise a team of production and maintenance employees while driving daily manufacturing operations to meet schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives. Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, yield, and operational efficiency. Coach, mentor, and develop team members to maximize performance, partnering with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve production issues and improve processes. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while managing shift operations, resource allocation, and workforce planning initiatives. Manage budget administration and continuous improvement efforts within the Palm Bay Fab 59 facility. This role operates on a compressed work week schedule of 12-hour shifts (6:45am to 7:15pm) rotating between three and four days.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and develop teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or applicable manufacturing experience
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- This opportunity is on a compressed work week schedule which consists of 12-hour shifts 3 days a week one week, and 4 days the next, 6:45am to 7:15pm Sunday thru Tuesday, and every other Wednesday
- This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience is highly preferred but not required
