Job Summary
Oversees daily security operations at assigned locations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, assets and sensitive materials. Edges risk mitigation, incident response, and maintenance of security systems; collaborates with all business units and employees; provides security training, mentorship to site security personnel, conducts investigations, liaises with law enforcement and regulatory bodies, oversees range activities and compliance, and supports ISO and safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7-10 years of previous work experience
- Detective or investigative experience required
- Prior law enforcement experience preferred
- Knowledge of local firearms laws, regulations, and best practices. ATF compliance preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, and experience in security surveillance technology preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, law enforcement and regulatory bodies
- Ability to train and mentor others
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work as a member of a team
- Proven experience in prioritizing tasks, ensuring appropriate coverage and timely security responses
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to navigate in an environment of constant change
