Job Summary
Coach, support, and evaluate drivers in the field while conducting observations and safety reviews. Assist with accident response and documentation, provide driver training and retraining, and address safety concerns to ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Support driver scheduling, dispatch, and daily operations by driving routes periodically and partnering with customers and leadership to resolve service issues. Maintain accurate records for drug testing and safety documentation. Requires a valid CDL and ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays. Full-time role with pay of $30.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays
Desired Qualifications
- Transportation, transit, school bus, or supervisory experience
- Experience coaching, training, or leading hourly employees
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work with drivers, customers, management, and union representatives
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety practices
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills
