Job Summary
Conduct clinical reviews including chart screening, writing case summaries, determining documentation adequacy, and preparing final determinations for Federal Independent Dispute Review Organization cases. Direct the workflow of assigned clinical reviewers, manage case staging with external experts, and oversee quality control and team goals through employee training. Supervise daily operations by reviewing timesheets, approving time off, setting performance deadlines, and ensuring on-time delivery while communicating directly with customers to troubleshoot concerns. This office-based role in Jericho, NY requires a Licensed Registered Nurse with one year of Independent Dispute Resolution experience.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with electronic medical records
- Ability to oversee, problem solve, and work collaboratively with peers, medical, analytical, and administrative support staff
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability and desire to be flexible, innovative, and creative
- Ability to meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment
- Licensed, Registered Nurse
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing OR graduate of an approved Registered Professional Nurses training program
- Two (2) years' experience in a clinical setting
- One (1) year experience working in Independent Dispute Resolution
- This position is office based at our Jericho, NY office
