Supervisor, RN - Full Time - Day Shift

Schedules, leads, and coordinates daily unit activities while overseeing optimal, safe nursing care and regulatory compliance. Directs a team of nurses and support staff, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local guidelines and accepted protocols. Provides clinical direction, evaluates staff care levels, and makes assignments based on competency and experience. Collaborates with the care team to meet patient needs, consults on care plans and policy interpretation, and prioritizes staffing assignments to maintain patient safety. Actively participates in hiring, promotion, and discipline, completes performance evaluations, and conducts rounds/audits to ensure compliance with required standards. Assists the department manager in accomplishing unit goals and provides administrative support.
