Job Summary
Supervisor RN - Cath Lab on the Day Shift leads and coordinates the unit’s daily activities, supervises a team of nurses and support staff, ensures safe, quality patient care and regulatory compliance, coordinates with other care units, participates in hiring and staff development, and provides clinical direction to staff. Requires RN licensure and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing; ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS certifications are required; preferred Master’s degree and nursing administration or specialty certifications. The role emphasizes oversight of staffing, rounds, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards within Adventist Health Glendale’s Cath Lab operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Five years' technical experience: Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required
