Job Summary
Lead the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant unit by providing overall leadership, direction, and operational oversight for multidisciplinary team care delivery. Direct professional nursing care for assigned patients while coaching, mentoring, and modeling service excellence behaviors. Monitor monthly quality improvement initiatives based on QAPI team metrics and collaborate with physician leaders to enhance overall care quality. Participate in the interview process for new candidates, provide feedback on hiring decisions, and orient new employees while evaluating their probationary progress. Serve as a role model for staff, demonstrating positive, solution-driven interactions and assessing needs to achieve "Best Practice" standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 2 years of recent experience in related clinical area of nursing with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership qualities
- 2 years of recent experience in transplant organization
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC)
