Supervisor, Residential Care Shift - 3rd

Overview: Supervisory role overseeing Residential Care Coordinators on assigned shift in a 24-hour residential facility. Responsibilities include supervising staff, approving timecards and PTO, coordinating monthly RCC meetings, managing staffing and supplies within budget, generating narrative and statistical reports, and overseeing admission, orientation, supervision, and discharge of residents. Ensures discipline, safety, and compliance with facility rules and licensing standards; coordinates searches and urinary tests; tracks resident activities; communicates with Site Manager and other staff; participates in on-call after-hours emergency response; maintains documentation and confidentiality. Skills/Qualifications: strong judgment and decision-making; ability to work with limited supervision; excellent written and verbal communication; basic computer proficiency; ability to work with diverse populations; understanding of person-centered planning; valid Michigan driver’s license; CPR certification; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience; three years of direct care experience required; experience in mental health, substance abuse, or correctional-type residential programs preferred. This role requires physical ability for routine facility duties and potential lifting up to 50 pounds; adherence to organizational Policies, Procedures, and Ethics; and alignment with Cherry Health’s mission, values, and reentry services delivery.
