Job Summary
Supervisor, Research Nurse leads operational and clinical research activities for the Delaware Practice and Community-Based Research Network (PCBRN), coordinating feasibility, site initiation, regulatory compliance, data management, education and training across multiple sites; ensures Good Clinical Practice, human subjects protection, and protocol integrity while overseeing staff, collaborating with clinicians and community partners, and supporting multi-site study implementation; requires RN licensure in Delaware, BSN, CITI/GCP training, and willingness to travel across Delaware. Responsibilities include leadership supervision, study management, onboarding of sites, regulatory submissions, data collection tools (REDCap), training, and ensuring overall research quality and participant safety.
Required Qualifications
- BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research (investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care and/or outpatient settings
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Delaware
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- CITI Human Subjects Protection training and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training completed within two weeks of hire
- Overnight travel for investigator meetings and national PBRN conferences; routine travel to participating sites
