Job Summary
Assess daily patient care needs and distribute assignments among clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure population-appropriate care. Delegate duties to interdisciplinary teams based on assessed skills and gather data to plan shift coverage. Evaluate performance of licensed and non-licensed caregivers, providing direct feedback and recommending corrective actions. Participate in hiring processes by conducting interviews and making recommendations to the clinical leader. Requires a Bachelor's degree, four years of operating room experience, and a Wisconsin RN license. Full-time day shift position at Columbia St Mary's Milwaukee within Ascension's nonprofit Catholic health system.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS certification
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
- Bachelor degree
- Four years operating room experience
- Progressive leadership experience
- BLS
- RN license
