Job Summary
Supervise students during recess and lunch periods to ensure a safe play environment and promote appropriate behavior. Conduct regular safety inspections of playground equipment and report maintenance needs to administration. Maintain strict confidentiality of student information and communicate effectively with students, staff, families, and community members. Utilize clear vision, hearing, and speech to monitor large groups, identify hazards, and communicate instructions in loud outdoor settings. Manage exposure to bodily fluids while assisting students with injuries or hygiene needs per district protocols. Work outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat, sun, rain, snow, and cold. Perform additional duties as assigned to support school operations.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- demonstrated proficiency in clerical skills as verified through district assessments
