Job Summary

Lead Ramp Operations for Southwest Airlines by supervising Ramp Agents to ensure aircraft arrive/depart on schedule; enforce safety rules, maintain equipment readiness, and manage daily reports. Responsibilities include coordinating with departments to sustain on-time performance, overseeing staffing and shift bids, training and coaching team members, monitoring ground support and labor contracts, and ensuring customer service standards. Requires leadership, scheduling, knowledge of CBAs and security requirements (SIDA, DOT testing), and the ability to operate within airline-operations constraints; travel and varied shifts may apply.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to obtain SIDA badge and meet airport requirements
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain GSC qualification and comply with DOT drug/alcohol testing
