Job Summary
Lead a Ramp Operations team at Southwest Airlines' DCA station to ensure on-time aircraft arrivals and departures. Oversee Ramp Agents, enforce safety rules, manage scheduling, training, and daily reporting. Coordinate with other airport operations teams to maintain performance, ensure equipment readiness, and uphold service standards. Responsibilities include forecasting operational needs, monitoring performance against metrics, and maintaining compliance with labor contracts. Requires U.S. citizenship or work authorization to work in the U.S., ability to obtain a SIDA badge, and the ability to work in shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- US citizenship or current authorization to work in the United States; no current or future sponsorship available
- Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet all local airport requirements
- Must possess a current valid driver's license issued in the United States
- Must be able to obtain GSC qualification and comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing program
