Job Summary
Supervisor, Quality leads and supervises quality assurance technicians to ensure accurate documentation, supports quality management, and maintains AAON quality standards. Responsibilities include utilizing CAPA findings and quality metrics to initiate and manage continuous improvement projects, assigning tasks, ensuring adherence to design specifications, overseeing audits and inspections, coordinating meetings with suppliers and customers to review quality findings, and traveling as needed. Requires a BS degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, plus strong leadership, communication, and proficiency in Word/Excel (Visio/Publisher/Power BI preferred); ASQ ISO, Lean, and SPC knowledge with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desirable. The role involves periodic visits to manufacturing facilities, standing/walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The company emphasizes continuous improvement, sustainability, and collaboration with production and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in Quality, ASQ Certification, ISO, Lean, Statistical Process Control, and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is desirable, or willingness to pursue such certification
