Job Summary
Oversees the purchasing and warehouse operations at the Edmundston Pulp Mill, managing inventory, procurement activities, and direct supervision of stores personnel. Responsibilities include securing best pricing, maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring a seamless supply chain, vendor relationship management, data entry and negotiation of purchase agreements, inventory replenishment, and cross-department coordination to prepare the warehouse for optimal operation. Focus areas include supplier negotiations, contract administration, inventory management, forecasting, and process improvements to align with corporate guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Degree/Trade: Preferably in supply chain management, business administration, finance, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Professional credentials such as SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) can highly elevate a candidate's profile.
- 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or contract administration, depending on the role's seniority.
- Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)
