Job Summary
Maintain high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment by overseeing various processing operations and daily line maintenance. Guide the team through pre-shift stretches and workstation rotations, ensuring all machinery passes USDA Inspection and that every station is staffed before start-up. Fulfill customer orders by checking daily production orders, ensuring accurate shipments, and managing inventory rotation and product coding. Build and retain a strong team by hiring, training, counseling on personal and professional issues, and educating staff on benefits and company policies. Solve problems collaboratively with other supervisors and promote safety through daily checks and monthly meetings. Work the 2nd shift from 2:15 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed at the Hutchinson Plant.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1+ years in a manufacturing environment
- prior supervisory experience
- Basic computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Some travel

Desired Qualifications
