Supervisor, Production Scheduling (Tube Shop)

Job Summary

Lead a team of schedulers and production coordinators to enable Falcon 9 manifest targets and optimize Tube Shop operations. Provide daily visibility on schedule, part shortages, and resource performance while developing reports on product completion status. Perform schedule analysis on critical paths to optimize equipment utilization and labor allocation, advising management when delivery risks emerge. Facilitate weekly clear-to-build meetings to evaluate mitigation strategies and attend customer meetings to establish priorities. Manage continuous improvement of material movement, production flow, and Warp Drive MRP data integrity, ensuring proper packaging to reduce handling damage. Train team members on career development and performance management within a flexible schedule that may require long hours and weekend work.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years of experience in material planning, production coordination, supply chain, or manufacturing role
  • 1+ years of experience with automated scheduling systems (MRP/ERP)
  • Position may involve long hours and weekend work as needed
  • Schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility required
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing, production, or testing environment
  • 1+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading a team of 5+ people, and the ability to work and communicate well with others in a team environment
  • Ability to work with limited supervision to develop and maintain program schedules
  • Working knowledge of resource planning and materials management
  • SQL programming/Power BI development experience
  • Attention to detail, highly organized, collaborative, and ability to pivot quickly in an ever-changing production environment
  • Experience developing schedules for medium to large sized projects
  • Professional experience with Microsoft Excel and similar scheduling software
  • Strong communication skills
