Job Summary
Develop and execute plans to meet department goals for quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. Manage performance measures, balance safety and morale, and identify bottlenecks or defects to implement corrective actions. Council and train lead personnel on quality standards, machine operations, and documentation while ensuring inventory levels meet daily needs. Create production schedules to prioritize department requirements and work with Quality Assurance to verify product specifications.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Knowledge of Word Processing software
- Knowledge of Spreadsheet software
- Knowledge of Inventory software
- Knowledge of Manufacturing software
- Onsite
- M-F
