Job Summary
Supervisor - Production leads and coordinates a fast-paced manufacturing operation, ensuring safety, quality, and timely production across assembly lines. Responsibilities include onboarding and training employees, enforcing safe practices, auditing line activities and quality checks, managing line assignments and temporary staff, performing regular 5S and safety/quality meetings, updating payroll, navigating Oracle and OBIEE for scheduling and inventory, cross-training for versatility, and supporting the manager with meeting production goals within budgeted hours. Preferred skills include experience with injection mold or blow mold processes, Lean manufacturing, ISO 9000 standards, bilingual English/Spanish, and strong leadership in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of Production experience in assembly/molding repetitive manufacturing.
- Supervisory Experience: Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience.
- English language skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
- Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
