Job Summary
Ensure achievement of safety, production, quality, and continuous improvement goals through planning, organization, coordination and control of resources. Create a work environment that is respectful, welcoming and safe, and empower employees to perform at their best. Responsible for conforming to the manufacturing plan and customer specifications, training and empowering employees and team leaders, enforcing conduct standards, coaching and disciplining as needed, identifying and communicating risks, conducting incident investigations and root-cause analysis, maintaining production reports, scheduling work including breaks, overtime and leave, ensuring adherence to quality procedures and process controls, encouraging and implementing improvement ideas with Continuous Improvement teams, facilitating communication between shifts and in meetings, and participating in safety and operational reviews. Travel as required. Requires four-year or two-year degree and supervisory experience; strong analytical and computer skills; willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- Four year degree or two year degree in pursuit of a four year degree with two to four years in supervision and / or more than 3 years practical experience in supervision / management
- Analytical skills to gather and interpret production information
- Computer competency including spreadsheet, charting, and word documentation
- Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary
