Job Summary
Plan and assign work, implement policies, and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, and operating procedures. Determine quality control standards, select and purchase materials, and balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale. Ensure proper training of all Teammates regarding Safety, Quality, and company procedures; execute SOPs and hold the team accountable. Manage Teammates' time and attendance, identify talent for critical roles, and hold daily management meetings to discuss goals and updates. Provide a hands-on approach by overseeing warehouse daily activities including receiving, stocking, inventory control, order filling, and customer pickups while promoting a safe work environment. Work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production throughput and accuracy goals.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in logistics, warehousing, or production
- Hands-on supervisory experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety practices
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Demonstrated initiative and adaptability when faced with new challenges
- Ability to repetitively lift, push, and carry 20–35 lbs
- Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed
