Job Summary
Review daily production orders to ensure customer fulfillment, oversee Team Member warm-up exercises and job rotation, and monitor equipment performance for optimal operation. Ensure all workstations pass USDA inspection requirements, maintain proper lot control and product coding procedures, and communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members. Promote safety daily through monthly meetings, coach and train Team Members, and oversee processing operations while collaborating with other supervisors to resolve operational issues. Maintain records regarding reworked or returned product and provide ongoing education regarding quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead and supervise production Team Members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of safety, quality, production, and USDA standards
- Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Travel 1–5 trips per year
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Additional education beyond high school, including vocational training, technical certifications, or college coursework
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to promote teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence
