Job Summary
Check daily production orders to ensure fulfillment of customer orders, ensuring every position is filled before start-up. Oversee morning exercises and job rotation to facilitate ergonomics while maintaining machinery standards and USDA inspection compliance. Promote safety through daily practices and monthly meetings, then manage inventory rotation, product coding, and shipments. Provide training, counseling, and encouragement to build a cohesive team while communicating benefits and solving processing problems with other supervisors. Keep accurate records of reworked or returned product and perform continuous quality education. This 2nd shift role requires high school education, one year in manufacturing, and supervisory experience, with a preference for poultry and SAP skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1 plus years in a manufacturing environment
- prior supervisory experience
- Poultry experience
- Experience with SAP
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- 1-5 trips per year
Desired Qualifications
- education beyond high school including special training, vocational school and/or college courses
