Supervisor, Production (2nd shift)

Production Supervisor (2nd shift) leads the Production team to meet in-process production metrics and plant KPIs. Responsibilities include holding daily shift meetings focused on safety, security, performance, quality, and continuous improvement; participating in root cause investigations; training Production Associates; assigning daily shift activities; ensuring timely SAP order openings/Closings and coordinating with Production Planning to schedule priority jobs; identifying/process improvements to increase on-time delivery, reduce scrap, and raise production rates; communicating issues to the department manager and other supervisors; coordinating quality issue resolutions; addressing assembly equipment concerns with timely corrective action; supervising and coaching staff, interviewing/hiring as needed, and contributing ideas for improvements; practicing good housekeeping and environmental safeguards; and demonstrating a positive, collaborative attitude. Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in a supervisory/lead role; Lean Manufacturing or ISO experience preferred. Bilingual in Spanish a plus; strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential. The role may involve other duties as needed and may involve working in a lean/ISO-certified environment.
