Supervisor, Production (1st shift)

Job Summary
Hold daily shift meetings focused on safety, security, performance, quality, and continuous improvement. Manage production associates through training, work assignments, and coaching to address performance concerns. Ensure timely order openings and closings in SAP while coordinating with planning to schedule priority jobs. Participate in root cause investigations for safety, security, and quality issues; implement process changes to improve on-time delivery and reduce scrap. Supervise assembly of parts and materials per work instructions, communicate equipment concerns for corrective action, and lead continuous improvement projects. Maintain a positive safety culture and practice proper housekeeping. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- at least 3 years' experience in a supervisory/lead role
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to proactively problem solve and follow up in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Some mechanical capability
- basic computer skills
- Detail-oriented, self-starter with a passion to deliver excellence
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to this position and safety
- Bilingual in Spanish
Desired Qualifications

- Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing or ISO Certified company
- Knowledge of Injection Molding
