Supervisor - Poker (On-Call)

Job Summary
Oversees poker games and supervises team members to ensure unmatched guest service, proper game pace, rake, and compliance with gaming regulations and The Venetian Resort policies. Responsible for coaching and disciplining staff, ensuring adherence to policies, substituting for other poker positions when needed, maintaining scheduling alignment with business needs, and upholding hygiene and safety standards. Demonstrates leadership in evaluating information, directing task completion, and communicating effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced resort environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming License, Alcohol Awareness (TAM) card and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy
- 1 year of experience as a Poker Dealer or Supervisor
- Demonstrated experience in a four- or five-star resort preferred
- Working knowledge of common rules and procedures of all Poker games
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
