Job Summary
Prepare, input, and review journal entries for product costing to drive the monthly financial close. Manage month-end statements, key performance indicator reports, property tax submissions, and Sarbanes Oxley documentation. Supervise Accountant and Sr. Accountant staff while overseeing Natural Gas, Electricity, and Catalyst reporting, capital project tracking, and internal/external audits. Conduct monthly plant cost variance analysis, finished goods inventory reconciliation, and asset componentization. Establish internal controls processes and collaborate with the Internal Controls Department to identify and correct deficiencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting or equivalent
- Five to seven years of experience in various areas of accounting with increasing levels of responsibility
- minimum of one year of supervisory experience in an accounting environment
- proficient with basic computer skills
- fundamental working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

- strong ability to problem-solve
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
