Job Summary
Collaborate with corporate planners and cross-functional teams to develop strategies that drive fill rates, working capital, and material margins. Use capacity analysis, historical data, and sales forecasts to determine demand unit volume requirements, while managing demand flow principles and internal pull systems. Track forecast accuracy metrics monthly and report performance to management. Transition operations from traditional push scheduling to a single scheduling point for demand-driven production. Act as the day-to-day point of contact for resolving order promising situations, customer delivery difficulties, and supply conflicts. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, 3-5 years of demand planning experience, and 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or Supply Chain Management
- 6-8 years related experience in the Supply Chain function within a similar working environment
- 3-5 years of demand planning in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Lean and Pull environment background
- Solid track record for performance and progression within operations, business and supply chain
- Demonstrated ability to influence management, teams and individuals across multiple cultures, disciplines and geographies
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience
