Job Summary
Supervisor, Planner Generation responsible for planning and scheduling all Solar & Energy Storage activities on a day-to-day basis, as well as planning all equipment and solar fleet outage work. Provides maintenance and planning support through craft scheduling, outage planning and scheduling, KPI tracking, along with Plan of the Week schedule development and compliance monitoring. Key duties include planning maintenance work and work orders with proper prioritization and cost-effectiveness, coordinating procedures and permits, maintaining the Solar & Energy Storage Operations Preventive Maintenance program, developing scheduled outage work packages, prioritizing work with Solar Technical Support, performing site visits for planning, and ensuring safe work practices, environmental compliance, and KPI monitoring. Requires strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, work management systems, and the ability to develop spreadsheets and reports;Strong communication skills for gathering and correlating information;Ability to manage overtime, budgeting considerations, and contractor-related work orders;Pre-employment requirements include Baseline Medical Examination, drug screening, and background check.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Minimum 8 years related to electrical generating facility operations and/or maintenance
- Preferred: Minimum 15 years related to electrical generating facility operations and/or maintenance
- Bachelor’s degree may be considered in lieu of related experience for five years with a bachelor’s degree
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of work management systems related to planning, scheduling, and tracking maintenance work
- Ability to develop KPI metrics
- Strong communication skills
- Preferred scheduling software such as Workman, Maximo, Primavera, Microsoft Project
