Job Summary
Supervise day-to-day clerical, administrative, and patient service functions to ensure productivity and accurate staffing. Monitor staff interactions, documentation, and quality assurance while managing provider schedules, visit closure, and patient registration data. Ensure caregiver competency in payment collection, cash handling, and resolving complex patient or internal customer complaints. Develop and implement policies for safe operations, provide input into budget processes, and handle human resources responsibilities including performance reviews and hiring recommendations. Collaborate with clinical leadership to address scheduling, insurance verification, and day-to-day problem solving while maintaining department metrics and service standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- 3 years of experience in providing customer service for a large or multi-site physician practice
- experience in automated patient registration
- experience in physician referral processes
- experience in third party insurance guidelines
- Demonstrated leadership skills such as delegation, team building, managing multiple priorities, problem solving, and decision making
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- customer service and interpersonal skills
- ability to effectively communicate with a variety of patients, staff, leadership, and physicians
- Excellent organization, customer service, and human relations skills
- Intermediate computer skills including experience in using personal computers
- experience in using Microsoft Office or similar applications

- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Position requires travel
