Job Summary
Supervisor, Patient Accounts oversees the daily operations of the Patient Account Representatives who primarily bill hospital services; contributes to development and implementation of billing policies for Olympic Memorial Hospital, Olympic Medical Cancer Center, and Olympic Medical Physicians; aims to improve billing services and operational efficiency; must lead collaboration across departments and drive process improvements while ensuring compliance with HIPAA. Requires three years of medical billing/collections experience, an associate degree in a related field, and supervisory experience; CRCS credential preferred. Responsibilities include supervising billing workflows, policy implementation, and fostering teamwork; opportunities include contributing to revenue cycle improvements and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- Three years’ experience in medical billing, collections, or related field
- Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field
- One year of supervisory experience preferred
- Licensure/Credentials: Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) preferred
