Job Summary
Implement changes and processes to facilitate efficient Patient Access services and achieve department goals. Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements while leading functions including admissions, discharges, transfers, registration, scheduling, and electronic medical record issues. Develop workflows to generate accurate patient data and improve financial details such as pre-authorization and government program assistance. Collect and compile data to create accurate reports for departmental training and distribute work to attain section goals. Orient, train, and mentor staff while maintaining appropriate staffing levels and managing diverse teams. Lead cross-functional teams in issue resolution, process improvement, and change management to ensure projects are completed within established timelines and budgetary limitations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a healthcare or business-related field
- 4 years of related experience
