Job Summary
The Supervisor is an introductory leadership role in a retail horticulture environment. Partners with the Department Manager and Assistant Department Manager to lead department team members, manage products, and ensure efficient department operations. Responsibilities include guiding worklist tasks, receiving products, collaborating with team members on projects, and training new team members. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, innovative thinking in buying decisions, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced store setting while maintaining guest experience and safety.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in horticulture, retail, hospitality or other plant-based industry
- Demonstrate a professional and strong sales proficiency
- Understand and execute processes in department as directed
- Possess basic horticultural and product knowledge
