Job Summary
Oversee the outpatient community behavioral health program, providing staff supervision and ensuring quality, compliance, and direct service benchmarks are met. Lead and model professional behavior, be accessible to staff, and ensure scheduling, staffing, onboarding, and ongoing training are conducted effectively. Provide clinical guidance to staff, review medical necessity and treatment recommendations, and assume LPHA responsibilities when credentialed. Recruit and retain high-performing staff, conduct annual performance reviews, and lead in crisis situations. Act as liaison with referral sources and contracting entities; ensure program documentation, chart reviews, and compliance standards are met; contribute to program quality, compliance, and productivity improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or Related Field
- Licensure/Certification in one of LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW (within 2 years)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in behavioral health
- Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to document, use computer systems, and manage clinical charts
- Ability to provide supervision and leadership; ensure compliance and quality benchmarks
- Clinical guidance and acting as LPHA when credentialed
- Ability to recruit/retain high-performing staff; conduct performance reviews
