Job Summary

Manage and oversee day-to-day operations for assigned OOH clients while supporting senior members on departmental initiatives. Direct reports through hands-on training, ensuring high-quality work and motivating the team to meet tight deadlines. Autonomously lead planning efforts for strategic direction, RFPs, negotiations, and presentations, developing and presenting OOH plans with sound rationale. Maintain expert knowledge of media terms, industry partners, and formats across traditional, tra-digital, and digital verticals. Participate in strategy development, compile POV's rooted in research, and stay current on evolving media trends. Work harmoniously with internal and external teams to drive projects from start to finish, multitasking across accounts while anticipating challenges and seeking creative resolutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Experience buying and planning (not just one), preferably within OOH
  • Experience training and/or managing multiple direct reports
  • Fluent in Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Prior employment at a media agency, preferably within OOH
  • Minimum of 3 days in-office per week
  • Expert understanding of media terms, concepts, and strategy (KPI, ROI, CPM, R/F)
  • In depth knowledge of OOH formats, vendors and markets (local, regional, national)
  • Proficient in planning across a variety of OOH verticals: traditional, tra-digital/digital, digital placed based
  • Ability to simultaneously multitask between multiple accounts and projects and prioritize accordingly based on deliverables under tight deadlines
  • Ability to recognize appropriate new opportunities, need for 101's or other documents and motivate self/team to compile and present as needed
  • Proficient in math
  • Ability to interpret, analyze and synthesize media research
  • Collaborative team player (can work independently & as part of a matrix structure)
  • Manage up/down appropriately
  • Act as a role model to direct reports and junior staff within the agency

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree is highly preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with OOH industry partners: Geopath & OAAA
  • Experience with experiential, event partnerships/event targeted, traditional embellishments (ex. extensions, props/builds, illumination, etc.)
  • Innate curiosity with a desire to learn and grow as an OOH/Media professional
  • Aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving
  • Self-starter who approaches workload with a positive attitude
  • Proactive (vs reactive) approach to projects/workload as well as overall management of the business and direct reports
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written & verbal)
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Highly organized, including time management (of self and team)
  • If errors/mistakes do occur, ability to take responsibility, adjust accordingly and apply learnings moving forward (of self and team)
  • Drive projects from start to finish in a timely manner
  • Motivate team, primarily direct reports, to do the same
  • Meet tight deadlines under pressure
  • Prioritize and reprioritize 'to-do list' accordingly to meet tight and/or changing deadlines while remaining positive
  • Effectively and fairly delegate workload
  • Synthesize large volumes of information quickly
  • With the ability to accurately and effectively communicate it out
  • Advocate for OOH (internally, externally)
  • Build, foster and maintain strong relationships (internal/external)
  • Receptive to feedback and able to apply moving forward
