Supervisor OSP - 1st Shift

Job Summary

Oversee day-to-day OSP operations by collaborating with vendors to optimize inventory levels and minimize excess stock while ensuring timely material availability. Monitor key performance indicators related to vendor performance and logistics, supporting the development of metrics to evaluate quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate with the Manager, Domestic Logistics to manage and schedule the flow of goods, assisting in streamlining delivery processes to reduce lead times. Interview, select, and train new hires while providing coaching, mentoring, and clear feedback to foster employee development and address concerns. Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs, and participate in problem-solving teams to address root causes of quality failures. Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and regulatory standards while adhering to safety and ISO procedures. 1st shift, non-exempt. 3-5 years of Operations or Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting required.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of Operations or Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
  • 1-2 years of experience in leading a team
  • Ability to apply problem-solving, organization, and communication skills to effectively manage daily operations and resolve issues
  • Able to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Basic working knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic working knowledge ERP and vendor management systems
  • Ability to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective vendor partnerships
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required
  • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements
  • Must comply with SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates

Desired Qualifications
