Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day activities of the Order Management team, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and within established service level agreements. Assign, prioritize, and balance workloads to support daily operational demands while coaching, mentoring, and developing team members. Oversee daily order entry, validation, and fulfillment activities, monitoring operational KPIs including order accuracy, backlog levels, and SLA performance. Serve as the first point of escalation for complex order management issues, partnering with internal stakeholders to drive timely resolution. Conduct daily backlog and order status reviews to proactively identify and resolve operational issues. Ensure consistent execution of order management processes, controls, and compliance requirements while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. Prepare and communicate reports on order volumes, backlog trends, and operational metrics to support workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Success, and other business partners to support a seamless order-to-ship process.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 3+ years of experience leading or supervising a team, either formally or informally
- Hands-on experience supporting order-to-ship processes within a customer-focused organization
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end order management lifecycle
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar enterprise systems
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce
- Ability to prioritize competing priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A customer-first mindset with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to support daily tasks and productivity
- Commitment to continuous learning in digital and AI literacy
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
