Job Summary
As Supervisor of Operations at Stryker’s Limerick site, the role leads and mentors multiple production teams, drives operational excellence and complex change initiatives, deputises for the Operations Manager, and ensures achievement of KPIs across Quality, Service, Cost and People Development. You will guide production planning, contribute to budget setting, champion 6S and EH&S standards, coach graduates and supervise supervisors, and foster a positive, fair work environment while coordinating with cross-functional teams. The position requires a degree (or equivalent), 4+ years in manufacturing, 2+ years in supervision, strong GMP/FDA knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 10%. Work flexibility includes remote capability with majority time allowed from alternate workplace, with onsite/hybrid options as defined by role and site requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or master’s in business, Production Management, Engineering or similar discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of supervisor experience
- Strong knowledge of GMP and FDA regulatory requirements
- Excellent MS Excel, PowerPoint & Word skills
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities; ability to mentor diverse teams; excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to manage budgets and drive process improvements; experience with 6S/lean methodologies
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and deliver on KPIs (Quality, Service, Cost, People Development)
- Travel up to 10% as required
