Job Summary
Supervisor, Operations on 3rd shift at West Pharma, responsible for supervising production processes and personnel, ensuring adherence to procedures, quality, safety, and schedules; oversee day-to-day production activities, develop short-interval look-ahead production schedules, promote site initiatives including lean/safety/training programs, ensure SOPs and GMP adherence, coach and evaluate employees, manage resources for on-time production and delivery, verify production data and attendance, support startup of new processes, maximize capital resources, and drive continuous improvement through Lean Sigma initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in technical or business-related field preferred
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Must have effective problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Moderate knowledge of computer programs and SPC applications
- Continual certification in First Aid/CPR will be required upon hire if not previously attained
- Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
- Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
- Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
- Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times
- License and Certifications: Health Services\First Aid Certification Upon Hire preferred or Health Services\CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Upon Hire preferred
- Travel Requirements: 10%: Up to 26 business days per year
- Physical Requirements: Light-Exerting up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force frequently constantly to move objects.
