Supervisor, Operations

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising inbound/outbound activities, product slotting, and customer communication, including labor scheduling and space utilization. Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems. Oversees receiving, warehousing, and shipping in line with client and company objectives, ensures safety, quality, and adherence to SOPs, and drives continuous improvement. Leads staff meetings, reports critical issues to senior management and client representatives, implements cost-saving measures, and supports HR activities such as hiring and development. Plans daily work schedules, performs KPI tracking, and provides guidance to warehouse staff with a focus on achieving productivity and service goals. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 3 years in logistics, 1 year supervisory experience, forklift training certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, RF scanners, and WMS.
