Job Summary
Supervise inbound/outbound operations, labor scheduling, space utilization, and customer communication daily; manage hiring, training, performance appraisals, and issue resolution under the direction of the Operations Manager or DC Manager. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and SOPs; drive continuous improvement, meet client KPIs, and provide guidance to warehouse staff. Responsibilities include planning daily work, coordinating with HR for development, and delivering results through effective leadership and team management in a logistics/distribution environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
- 1 year experience in a supervisory role
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- RF Scanners
- WMS functions
- English (reading, writing, verbal)
- Good communication skills, written and oral
- Strong leadership, supervision, and planning skills
- Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
