Job Summary
Supervisor - Operations responsible for overseeing fulfillment and logistics execution across inventory, warehouse, and fulfillment activities. Role involves planning and executing warehouse operations, coordinating distribution with carrier management, and supporting various warehouse types (CFS, CY, inland, bonded) as part of Maersk's integrated logistics network. The position requires independent judgment within defined boundaries, with opportunities to resolve problems and mentor team members from entry-level to experienced professionals. Strong emphasis on standardized work routines, operational knowledge, and the ability to perform skilled technical or administrative tasks to support overall operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in supervision or management of logistics/warehouse operations preferred
- Strong planning and execution skills
- Ability to work independently within defined guidelines
- Ability to escalate non-routine problems
- Experience with inventory and fulfillment processes
- Knowledge of warehouse types and distribution concepts
