Supervisor, Operations 3rd shift -Coppell, TX

Supervise and coordinate activities for ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials in the stockroom, warehouse, and yard. Maintain adequate records of inventory adjustments, including cycles, physicals, and catch weight audits, while investigating variances and adjusting inventory records as required. Review inbound appointment logs and open order reports daily to plan inbound and outbound schedules that meet customer metrics, and determine staffing needs based on workload. Directly supervise 20+ employees by interviewing, hiring, training, assigning duties, appraising performance, and resolving grievances while ensuring proper safety procedures are followed. Manage payroll for the department and track productivity by individual, function, and department. This full-time on-site role is part of Maersk's integrated logistics network, which handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution to build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process.
