Job Summary
Supervisor, Operations (2nd Shift) oversees inbound/outbound activities, product slotting, and client communications; plans daily work, labor scheduling, and space utilization; hires and trains staff, conducts performance evaluations, and addresses issues to meet KPI and quality objectives. Leads safety and standard operating procedures adherence, coordinates with HR for development and promotions, and ensures efficient warehouse operations and cost control. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 3 years of logistics experience with 1 year in a supervisory role; forklift training and MHE knowledge are preferred. Proficient with RF scanners and WMS; strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities; available for night/weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in a logistics/distribution environment
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Satisfactory completion of forklift training program
- Preferred: MHE certification or knowledge of basic MHE operation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- RF Scanners
- WMS functions
- English (reading, writing, verbal)
- Strong leadership, supervision, and planning skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
