Job Summary
Operations Supervisor for 2nd shift leading warehouse activities, labor scheduling, inbound/outbound and product slotting, with responsibility for hiring, training, performance appraisals, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Core duties include conducting staff meetings, communicating with senior management and clients, developing systems for managing operations and resources, achieving KPI targets, enforcing SOPs, coordinating HR processes, training warehouse staff, and providing leadership to drive productivity and customer satisfaction. Requires high school diploma or GED, 3 years in logistics, 1 year supervisory experience, forklift/MHE familiarity, RF scanning and WMS proficiency, and ability to work nights/weekends. Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Prior forklift training / MHE certification (preferred)
- Proficient with RF Scanners and WMS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- English proficiency (reading, writing, verbal)
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Strong leadership and planning skills
