Plan work schedules, assign duties, and manage hiring, performance appraisals, and budget processes to maintain adequate staff for fluctuating workloads. Direct the functional team, implement training programs, and coordinate project plans while reviewing work processes to ensure proper completion. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, handle materials, keep inventory current, and maintain equipment through preventative programs and third-party repairs. Ensure safety compliance with OSHA regulations, enforce clean and orderly department standards, and collaborate with sales and purchasing to address customer issues.
